Depends on the sentimental value. A rewound transformer would
buy TWO nice examples of the R-100 Stateside.

Yikes! I could buy a brand new standard transformer from Hammond for
$40 -$50. No, it wouldn't be original, but would it matter? Are R-100s
really down to the $20 range?
