What is a Clegg Zeus? is that Ham radio or what?W4PQW
You're in a boatanchors newsgroup, and you've never heard of Clegg?
They were a big name in VHF equipment forty years ago, alongside
Gonset that made the various Communcators. Clegg was better grade
VHF equipment, albeit not moonbounce level, when most commercial
VHF ham equipment was for local useage.
I had to look up the Zeus (and I'm lazy so it's a websearch rather
than checking old magazines) and it's a transmitter. Covers both
six and two meters. About a hundred watts output. AM and CW.
It, like many of the other Cleggs, were something you dreamed of
having.
