Ok, lets go.

'Normal' fuel with 91 oktane is about 1,43 EURO per litre in Germany.
This is 5.43 EUR per US-gallon (3.8 litres)
Currency chart is 0.7985 US$for 1 Euro.
So we have to pay 6.80US$/ gallon.

Diesel is about 1.18Euro/ litre

But.... about 70% of it is TAXES & VAT.

I drive a 1993 VW-T4 model with 2.4ltr diesel engine and I feed it with
rape-oil for 0.68 EUR per ltr wich is 3.24 US$ per US-gallon and gives a
rather cheap milage per Euro for european circumstances.....
