I bought a nice Elgin (made in Japan) model R-2700 AM/FM clock radio for
one dollar and fifty cents at the Goodwill thrift store this
afternoon.It has a plastic wood grained looking cabinet and the front of
the radio is chrome looking and the radio looks almost like brand
new.The radio has twin round dials next to the rectangular shaped clock
dial,one dial for FM and the other dial for AM,both dials turn at the
same time when tuning stations.The radio plays ok and the clock
works,the clock light bulb is burnt out.Otherwise it is a nice little
desk top/table top radio for one dollar and fifty cents.A real good
Wallace Beery (he was one of the best movie actors ever) movie,Big
Jack,is starting on tv now.
