Have you seen what Deutsche Welle is planning for the next

broadcast
period (October 30, 2005 - March 25, 2006)? They're cutting back on
their broadcasts. For example, currently they broadcast to North
America eight hours in German (2000-0400 UTC) and one hour in

English
(2100-2200 UTC) and their new schedule is four hours in German

(0200-
0400 and 1400-1600 UTC) and one half hour in English (2300-2330

UTC).
They say that they will do this worldwide - two hours in the

morning
and two hours in the evening (local time). Also, currently their

use
12 different frequencies from four transmitter sites and they're
changing to 11 frequencies from six sites to North America.

WRN is available on Stream 140 Sirius Satellite Radio

Where you have to pay monthly to get it. If they start
giving the signal away like they did in HF, I'll think about
it, but it's their loss, not mine.

Maybe you do. Considering I bought thousands of cheap shares in their
stock it's all gravy to me.

Truth of the matter is that HF broadcasting is rapidly disappearing.
