Practically nothing. Very few radio stations use cart machines
nowadays, and those stations that do generally have little trouble in
finding top-quality used machines such as Pacific Recorders and ITC.
Even to a collector an AudiCord is not very desirable. In my 35 years
as a radio engineer I have worked on, I believe, every brand of cart
machine ever made in the US, and I consider AudiCord to be the worst
brand that ever I have ever worked on. Their principle defects are
underpowered motors, and materials and workmanship that are noticeably
inferior to the premium brands. The only reasons why so many were sold
are 1) a radio station used to need quite a few cart machines, and 2)
AudiCords were relatively inexpensive, compared to other brands.
