I have a motorola analog spectra VHF high power modile radio. I am
wondering if it is possible to get a vehicle repeater systems for this
radio. I am wanting to be able to get out of my vehicle with a UHF
handheld and be able to talk back through the repeater and go out over
my VHF radio. I would also like to be able to change the channels from
the handheld if possible. If anyone can help with these please reply.


Personally, I'd get a ham dual band radio that can do that all in one
package. However, if you must keep the Spectra, you'd probably be best
advised to contact a Motorola dealership to see what is available. It
sure will be a lot more expensive than using a ham dual-band, though.
