M II,

You are talikng about AM/FM Radios and not Shortwave?
I have never heard of any Stereo Shortwave Broadcasters.

Yes..the normal AM/FM Stereo receivers used for home entertainment setups.

Look at the Sansui TU-919 AM/FM Stereo Tuner

That's the type I'm looking at, but with a really good AM section.

Best AMS tuner out there is the Carver TX-11a or TX-11b NOT the TX-11, which
is FM only... the a and b models are AMS/FMS. These can be had for around
$150 or so, and are absolute top of the line for AM Stereo, or just plain
broad AM reception.
