degan 1103
I bought the Kaito 1103, pretty much the same radio.
The Degen will most likely require you to use a voltage converter unless you
are
in an area that uses 220.
I like the radio, first one for SW I have bought in a long time.
Has nice reception on the FM and AM bands.
Still haven't gotten the hang of using the SSB feature, though.
Good SW reception even with the attached antenna, and
a connection for a longer accesory antenna is provided.
Has simulated analog tuning, which I like.
Has search as well, when you hold down the band+- buttons.
Have noticed an AM station bleeding over onto another AM station that I
listen to.
Does it with my ancient Sony walkman as well, so there is
some issue with the offending station, I would imagine.
It is somewhat of a battery hog.
Comes with rechargeable batteries and charger.
The manual and radio markings are in Chinese.
There is an English manual in PDF format.
The seller is liypn BTW.

Great buy imho, but look at the detailed review on radiointel.com and
search this forum for many threads.
