IRLP is linking repeaters via commercial carriers.
Been done for at least 50 years, no big deal.
Oh ... yeah ... 50 years ago what was linked were not
called "repeaters" ... but anyone who knows the history
of ham radio is aware of that detail.

"International Radio Loophole"??
I have been a ham since sophomore year of high school (68) years
now and I dont get into this newsgroup too often. In fact dont
get on the Ham Bands very often either as all my time as a
MARS volunteer keeps me too busy. Being Hi State Coordinator
for ARMY MARS is totally time consumeing. So now I have posted
at least one msg to this group, albeit time is a waseting and I
got a stack of EMAIL to be handled to Schoffield Barracks.
