There's no 9600 bps digital repeaters in town here, and I was wondering if
someone makes a 9600 bps repeater controller board? I know TAPR used to
make a 9600 bps digital repeater board, but I don't think the FIFO chip is
available anymore to make it functional?? It's also a pretty old design.

They still have this page up, but I don't know what the kit status is:

According to their pricing, the modem board is $80, the clock board is $5
and the bit regen is $10 plus $7 ship & handling.

Any hints on something that is being marketed today?

I couldn't find anything else with a few different Google searches.
