Yeah we have had some strong winds around here in Ventura.

The low bands do better with lower Sun activity we have had recently.
This is also winter in NA, which also favors the lower bands. I don't
pick up much these days on 13 meters (21, 400 KHz to 21,900 KHz) but 16
meters (17,480 KHz to 17,900 KHZ) and the other bands on down has been
pretty good.

It's another windy day in Southern California so keep an eye on your
antennas Stewart.
