small hf radio at any given time it was monbanded but by swaping
modulues it could changes bands waht was the name of it
Ten-Tec Scout. 50 watts, with a fairly popular aftermarket mod to
provide a switchable 5-watt setting for QRP operation. PTO tuning,
with a reputation for being a bit drifty over time especially during
CW operation.
In my experience it's a pretty decent little radio - I have one in my
Aerostar for HF-mobile operation.
It's no longer being manufactured, but Ten-Tec still sells the band
modules and has some stock of replacement parts for it.
