I have a Yaesu FTDX 400 transmitter that I am restoring to operating
condition. In the tube list there is a "VR 150MT" called for, and on
the chassis a Raytheon JANOA2WA installed. I have been unable to verify
this substitution. Does anyone know if this is a correct replacement?
150MT is a 150 volt cold cathode regulator tube. So is the OA2.
Dunno if the required series resistance is the same, but if the thing
is regulating properly I wouldn't worry.
