Company says its high-tech paint will block cell phone calls

Sounds good to me. I think the cell phone companies' argument of
illegality is ridiculous. A person has the right to not be annoyed
by
cell phones, and if painting his establishment to attenuate those
signals is a way to achieve that, that is his right. I have no
problem
with requiring the owner of the painted building to put up a sign
stating that the space is a no-call zone; it seems only fair to warn
people that their cell phones are no good inside.
I look at it this way; there are plenty of older buildings
(or if you work in the basement floor) where cells
don't reach without repeaters. Hell, I've seen my
cell die in other odd places too. I doubt the cell
companies will be able to force the owners of those
buildings to install repeaters, so why bother with
people who don't want them accessed in their own
buildings?
