What type of Sony were you thinking about getting.
I bought a Sony 2010 SW radio some years back. It is a very good radio for
DXing actually.
On the other hand I think it is about the most unreliable radio I have ever
owned.
Its a portable though I doubt it could go anywhere without a problem.
Under warranty I took it to the service center and of course they couldnt
find what was wrong with it.
It still has the same problem, when you turn it off, it is very hard to get
it back on again, the display and functions are locked up.
