Although the geomagnetic field is unsettled at this time and the space
weather indicates that the solar plasma has a negative component of
around -10 my current reception of RA is good on 13670, 15240, 15515 and
also NZ on 15720 is good.

My usual reception of RA and NZ is that one is much better than the
other for some reason but not tonight 04:00 to 05:00 UTC.

On 13670 RA is battling a China domestic 50 KW station where RA is
winning.

YAY for Radio Australia and Radio NZ they are good services.I seem to
not get Radio NZ very well, even though it in my "backyard" it must not
be a very powerful signal.I must experiment with it,it doesnt surprise
me that RNZI is being caught in America on 15720, it is the all pacific
broadcast but it is a bit late for me to listen.

Here is the schuedule for RNZI and RA

If I remember properly you are southern Australia and maybe with in the
first hop so it goes over you.

At my location NZ and RA are a similar distance and you would expect
with both broadcasting the same power they would have similar reception
characteristics but often times one is much better than the other.
Depending on conditions and time of day either one could be much be much
better then the other on the same band. However last night they were
both excellent. RA was only weak on 12080.

I have not checked the RA schedule lately and did not expect to find
them on 13670. I expected them on 13630. They switched from 13670 to
13630 at 07:00 UTC I think. According to my schedule they should have
been on 13630 the whole time.
