Default "All Waves" Spherical {Metal Ball} Antenna an all around Isotropic Radiator :o)

TOM,

"All Waves" Spherical {Metal Ball} Antenna an all around Isotropic
Radiator )
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Shortw...a/message/9223

Many years ago they used to sell an "All Waves" Spherical
{8"-12"Metal Ball} Antenna that was designed to be mounted
ona Pole outside the House or above the Roof and connected
with an Insulated Wire going down to the Radio. It was just
a 'gimmick' but it looked so cool and so round like a big silver
balloon or may be even a Fat Round Space Ship . . .

Isotropic Antenna :
The Isotropic Radiator, is sometimes referred to as
the Hairy Ball Problem.

Better you should not concern yourself with an
Isotropic Antenna and instead read :

QUESTIONS :
What Radio would you be using in your apartment ?
Do you listen to Shortwave Bands 3-30 MHz ?
Are you listening to the AM/MW Broadcast Band ?
