Well, they are the one place you will get EXACTLY what you need. But they
will be slow, and they wiill be expensive, although probably not "a
fortune". For a scanner, it probably only needs to be in the neighborhood.
Have you thought of taking an old FT-243 and grinding it? Probably your
scanner has an HC-49 or something so you would have to cobble something
together, but if you can find something in the neighborhood you should be
able to move it a bit.
