The Big-8 Management Board has decided by consensus to remove the
newsgroup rec.radio.amateur.policy. Voting began on 01 Jul 2006, and
ended on 02 Jul 2006.

This group will be removed on 17 Jul 2006.

RATIONALE: Remove rec.radio.amateur.policy

The last official message was in May 2006.

There are other more suitable means of discussing radio policy, so
rec.radio.amateur.policy is not a suitable candidate for conversion to
a moderated newsgroup.

The newsgroup rec.radio.amateur.policy was created in April 1986, with
the first approved message in May 1986.
