Default That's it, blame CB and Ham radio for BPL interference...

... On paper, using power lines as a means for distributing traffic
throughout a residence is a no-brainer. ... One contributing factor is
the
possible interference from HAM or CB radio communications, say experts,
that
could decrease the reliability of the transmissions.

It would be interesting to hear reports from some CBers in areas where
BPL trials are currently in use.

As far as I'm concered, BPL is kludge, a bailing wire, cardboard and
duct tape 'last mile' solution that should of NEVER gotten off the
ground.

Ham and CB cause interference to BPL? Last studies I read - suggested
"overwhelmingly" the other way around - even interfering with 2 way radio
systems used by Public Service Agencies. I also understand that BPL was
tried elsewhere and BOMBED. So, ya got to wonder just what IS the truth?
Yes, I'd be interested in reports from CBers and Hams alike where BPL may
already be in effect. 2 way radio users as well - in the low band to lower
VHF regions.

Just my 2 cents
