Are you getting any audio at the headphone jack? Some receivers turn
off the speaker when you plug in the headphones. They do that by
routing the speaker output through some contacts on the headphone jack
so that when you insert the headphones it opens the speaker circuit.
I've had those contacts get cruddy so you don't get anything out of
the speaker. When that happens you can still get audio out of the
headset. Then again, you might just have one or more bad tubes.
