Yep, that's my CM-1. It will be interesting to see how much more he
gets
for it by way of his marketing.
Shipping is a bit extreme at $32- I shipped it UPS to him for around
$12.

You should have just drop shipped it for him.

Maybe he's going to have it "professionally" packed! That "might" make
sense. It is amazing how many people either won't/don''t take the time OR
too dumb to know how to do a decent job. It is "rocket science" to them.

Excellent comment Michael- I should have thought of that option.
The "one owner" comment is fictitious by the way.

I wrapped the rig in so much bubble wrap it would have bounced. Then in a
double thick wall new container- still only $12.
I received a Davco DR-30 several years back that was rolling around in
styro peanuts when it reached me- and this after I implored the seller to
pack it extremely well- even offered to pay extra $$.

I was "trying" to give the guy "some" benefit of doubt at least on the
shipping aspect! It really sucks when they lie about being the "only" owner
or something similar. Ya have to wonder now - if he didn't screw the thing
up somehow so it is junk "unbeknownst" to the eye - and not telling that
too.

Had a guy try to sell me a radio once at a flea market - claimed it was
"factory". Yeah ok - I found some "hidden" switches and asked their use - he
said oh this is for this and that to which I replied - sorry dude - the
factory didn't install THAT. NO radio of its kind - make and model - comes
from the factory with what this had in it. Caught him in a lie REAL fast.
Had he not lied about it up front, I "might" have bought it.

Strange thing about this case - yes the internet is broad and you "can" get
lost in it - but the downside is - via searches - you're also vulnerable to
being found out too. The less than honorable sellers don't bank on the
latter. I've seen many cases with "pirated" pictures and so on to items like
this bought and resold under less than honorable pretenses. AND the sellers
caught at it - even if only in reference.

Mike was right Dale - could have saved some effort there with the Drop Ship.
