N1MM's LOGGER program... Can be used as a simple logging program.. But
has all the bells-n-whistles you can imagine (and some you can't) if
you want to use all its features... Has a community of users who will
help you and a chat group...
And is free - not shareware, or pay me later - f r e e ....... Go to:

enjoy - denny / k8do
who has used most of the logging / rig control, programs out there, is
a life time subscriber to TRLOG, CT. and others, and N1MM is among the
best...

I agree that N1MM is very good. For a beginner in computer logging of
contests, it has a steeper learning curve than the N3FJP programs. While
you do have to purchase the N3FJP program, it is so easy and intuitive to
use that it is great for the inexperienced. I will admit N3FJP doesn't have
quite as many features but it does do all the basic stuff (basic rig
control, dxspot access, etc). Again that makes it good for contest
beginners.

Here is my list of preferred contest logging programs in order:

1. N3FJP if he has one for the particular contest.
2. N1MM when there is not an N3FJP program available
3. GENLOG when neither of the above has a program or module for the
contest.
