Some collectors and restorers did contact him before closing -- I also
know
there are still a number of Zenith consoles (I saw them about 4 weeks
ago).
This is the auction company (their photos and methods) he selected.

The consoles are obviously not included in this auction. In fact there is
nothing
antique or vintage in the pictures. The dumpster they mention in the
listings
would sure be put to use. He wants to use the auction as a way to clean
the shop
without having to do any work.
