Just the carrier. Was wanting to see if I could stretch a tube the

tell me, why the difficulty using a tube rather than a Mosfet? Don't

Are you sure you don't mean "Class D" ?
ISTR that Class E is a PWM switched signal fed into a low
pass filter.

Class D uses a technique that aligns the current and voltage
zero crossings with the switching, or something like that.
