Hello group and thanks for any help you can share

We have a basic baby monitor set up in the nursery and the extensions

are set

up in our bedroom and the livingroom.

Twice now we have clearly heard transmissions of our baby and our own
conversations that occured 15 minutes earlier.

This morning my wife and I were standing in our room WITH the baby

while

we

listened to him crying on our monitor and her going in to get him which
happpened about 15 minutes ealier. Very odd to me.

How is is this possible? Is this possible?

It was definately not some other picked up transmission from the

neighborhood.

It was like time delayed transmission.

Very curious.

This also happened once before

Thanks for any help. Im very curious how this is possible

You do know that by installing a baby monitor in your home, you are in
effect placing a "bug" in your home that ANYONE can listen to and record
and play back at will don't you????

Guys, you would be SURPRISED how many people do NOT know that. I've told

a
few about their cordless phones and they damned near had a heart attack.

Not
people I would be able to hear, but people in general. They just don't

know.
I've never bought a baby monitor, so I don't know what the instructions

may
say. Maybe they should state that ALL transmissions are able to be

picked up
by scanner radios. Maybe it is in there and they just don't read the
directions - who knows? But they are completely unaware of their

actions.

If a person doesn't know that a microphone and transmitter inside their
house will transmit sound to wherever, They will be hard pressed to know
anything.

Well! I think we can rest OUR case because many do NOT. Take a poll
sometime, you won't believe it. Lou
