Default W8JK Memorial Station

Dear Neighbor:

That is Big Ear. I worked on its first instrumentation long ago - the
antenna that is, not the book. It has gone to the Great Scrap Yard where
good antennas go so as to make way for a baby-factory or the like.

It is wonderful that such a great man's call will be preserved.

Since W8JK is well known in antenna circles, you may be interested in
thus.

The John D Kraus Memorial Amateur Radio Club has been created, and
issued John's call sign W8JK.
The web site is

will be on the air in various contests and special events. QSL via
KC8VEB. John was a well-known pioneer in antennas and Radio
Astronomy.

I still have his McGraw-Hill textbook. It's a great reference!

But do you have "Bib Ear"?
