Yep, it is an easy one:
First, clean everything up so it shines.
Second, write an interesting story about the item.
Third, take lots of flattering pictures.
If you do that, you too can sell for top dollar.

Ps. I learned a long time ago that the simple act of cleaning up the scum
off of hamfest equipment made it sell for a lot more. I sometimes went
around
to other tables, bought something that was dirt crusted, and cleaned it
off
and doubled my money.
I wrote an editorial about that for Comm'Quarterly many years ago..
How folks put dirty radios out for top dollar, and don't even
consider what a few minutes of labor would have done for
their potential sales and bottom line...
