What is so unusual about ***that*** speaker
that a link for it should be spammed to
numerous newsgroups? It seems
that the boatanchor group was arguably the
appropriate place for it. There are several WWII
Scott military receivers at auction right now.
Let's post links to them. What are they being
snubbed and the speaker featured??

Maybe I'll do an ebay search and post those links as well. I was
searching on eh scott and happen to see this speaker. If you aren't
into boatanchors I suggest you just ignore it and don't get your
shorts in such a knot.

Heck, there's an Allied SX-190 SW receiver
there too, it was perhaps their best effort..
Let's post a few links for that as well.

Do you thing every "golly gee whiz" item should
be linked here? 90 percent of the stuff sells, so it must
of interest to someone, so using that logic every eBay
auction should have a teaser here?

Where do you draw the line on this nonsense?

And to answer your other question, the posters
are usually added to my blocked poster filter.
The future teasers from Cmdr. Cooty will be ignore.

You need to learn the definition of spam. Posting the link once to two
newsgroups where the participants might be interested (there are those
who read this group that are into boat anchors in case you have never
noticed) isn't spamming.

So what is the difference between the posting of this link than all of
the other "FA" and "FA not mine links"? Actually it really doesn't
matter what you think anyway , you don't own the group.
