Edison C-1/Peerless Speakers
Here's a rear shot of my 1928 Edison C-1 radio/phonograph combination
showing the pair of 10" Peerless speakers. They're powered by a pair of
UX-50 output tubes. That large cable that plugs into the amp goes to the
tuner up top. This model and the C-2 were that last to play Diamond Discs
(with an offset diamond stylus) as well as "needle cut" lateral records with
a changeable steel needle. $1150.00 less tubes in 1928.
