Default Crosley before

Here is 1055 Crosley i got started on . At one time the original power
transformer went up like a big huge smoke bomb coating everything with
tar spit and soot . It went so long tar liquid ran down through the
radios wood bottom wood joints and most likely onto what it was sitting
on .

After that it is quite noticable this radio got a new transformer and
had many repairs after that . It must have been used every day 24-7 .
The three 6F6 and 5W4 sockets all look like they have 3 million miles on
them , very over dryheated looking . The rest of the sockets look normal
As the radio lived on it got very shody repairs wit wrong parts and
remained all coated wit soot .
Whoever had it must have had no sence of smell .
Apon my first power up the thing worked real well under a medium hum
