me how to stop it - when I'm listening to a transmission, every 3rd or 4th
word seems to be dropped. It's very frustrating, like "911 call
from --- --- Road. Caller says --- ---- three times today."

Is it me, my settings or just how it is? I do have a delay setting and
the 'DLY' only shows on the readout when a transmission is happening and
disappears when scanning. I've tried turning delay on and off and this
happens either way.
