Of course, top of my wish list is an Icom IC-R9500 if only farmer
Christmas
has a big fund this year and lots of space on his sled with strong
reindeers.
I have told farmer Christmas he can get me one of the last Sony ICF-
SW100S'
available from a Japanese dealer as listed on Passband's website - a
little
jewel of a radio with amazing performance for it's size.
If ready for Christmas I also want a Redsun RP3000 with synch
detection and
SSB instead of an Eton E1 due to it's amazing AM MW and FM reception
and
outstanding all round performance.
I would also like the new European Perseus SDR computer radio that can
now
record up to 400 Khz of spectrum and supercedes the performance of
the
RFspace SDR-IQ.
As I have the best active antenna in the world bar none, I had to
think a
bit about what I would like here, and settled on the highly portable
Quantum
v2+ equipped with LW + MW + SW loops. The best indoor antenna going by
all
accounts.
If farmer Christmas manages all that I will be a very happy chappie
next
year.
Have fun and good DX!
