I think 50%+ of my earnings go to gov't. I don't think "government
would be BUYING me anything"--we would be purchasing it for ourselves.

Gasoline tax, property tax, transportation tax, booze tax, tobacco tax,
federal excise--phone tax, cell phone tax, etc., etc.

Reader Digest used to do an article once a year which showed how long a
person must work just to pay his her taxes--last I seen (years ago) it
was past April headed for June; anyone read that article lately?

The government is "of the people, by the people and for the people", if
you find anything different--there are already dark forces in the
government which need removed ... while communism is certainly something
we need fear--we should first correct the current clear and present
danger ...
