Default 75M loop on 160

On behalf of a friend, I am asking this question. He has a full wave
75M loop up about 40 feet, ( 247 feet of wire ). He would like to
somehow be able to "break" the far center of this loop to provide for half
wave operation on 160.

He was thinking along the lines of some kind of choke or Hi-Z filter in
the opposite leg that would electrically be open at 1950 KHz, and closed at
75M. I am dubious on doing this because of the extreme high voltages that
would be present at this point... He runs a Kilowatt and feeds the loop
with coax.

Is what he wants possible, either mechanically or electrically, without
having to drop the antenna for manual switching?
