Default Potentiometer curves and descriptions

I do have the Mallory catalog copies but they are not very clear.
Basically, in their line, Taper 1 is AUDIO, Taper 2 is REVERSE log (for
ant/bias type vol controls) and Taper 4 is LINEAR.

I have scanned the Clarostat catalog page of tapers for you here and the
Centralab taper page. I sell about 65% Centralab, 25% IRC and the rest
being Mallory, TRW, Clarostat, and unknown or smaller brands. Centralab is
the only line I can currently make ganged or concentric pots with.
The Mallory line is a very tough one to complete as their pots had a lot of
diversity of bushing types... I may have to get some special bushings and
shafts made if I am ever going to sell that damned line!

I do a fair amount of control repairs or restorations.... where I steal an
element out of a matching brand housing and insert it into the "factory
original" housings. Its important to know that the radio manufacturers did
not make their own controls, but bought them from the major makers. One
problem is all these suppliers changed their lines about 3 or 4 times from
1935 to the end of rotational controls, around 1980 or so. So, even within
one manufacturer's line, there is incompatibilty!

Hi Mark, do you have one for Mallory?
