The top comes off really easily and the input and output filters (which
have series inductors and caps to ground) seem to have several positions
for fitting the capacitors as though the block is quite wideband and the
filters set the bandpass.
Just an idea that these 30 Watt 170MHz units may easily be moved down onto
2m?

Series inductors and caps to ground indicate a low pass filter. The
arrangement
sounds like a harmonic filter. You probably can go lower in frequency with
no
changes.
