Default Trying to find a radio

Is it battery only?

No, the one I'm looking for is AC only. IIRC, it uses a special electric
clock movement, where the coil for the motor has a secondary winding that
provides power for the radio.

Did you try google? When I used the terms:

sears transistor "clock radio"

many possibilities showed up under the Silvertone brand circa 1960's.
Lot of eBay listings. Might be worth a look. One sight indicates the
Sears transistor stuff from this era is in Photofacts too. Just with a
quick check I found so many models/pictures of vintage Sears clock
radios I couldn't hazard a guess as to which one is close to what you
are looking for.
