Save up all of the newsgroup messages and forum postings in which
collectors lament that horizontal 1950s/1960s Euro consoles are
essentially worthless. People leave them out on the curb for collection,
donate them to thrift stores, chop them up for firewood, etc. Perhaps
you can change his thinking over time.

I've already told him how worthless it is g. Every time I go in there
he asks if I want it. I think he can see my eyes light up. The other
bit of entertainment gear he has 'just sitting around' is a Marantz
receiver...with toobs! He doesn't even kid around about that one....
