Scott McClellan, Bush administration insider since the Texas days
dropped a bombshell. His conscience apparently finally got the best of
him and his book tells the inside story of why the Iraq 'war' is
*fraudulent*, the treasonous outing of Valerie Plame and other White
House whoppers and follies. The 27% of you that still think Bush is
doing a good job might want to give the book a read. Heck of a job, Georgie!

Then again, maybe Scott twisted "the truth" to sell a book.

Maybe, but unlikely. First, he was Bush's loyal aide for years. I don't
know if just finances would cause him to suddenly turn on Bush or if his
conscience finally caught up with him.

In any event, I wouldn't expect Scott to be too far from the truth;
otherwise he and/or his publisher would get their socks sued off of
them. I guess we will have to wait and see if the administration
actually sues him for slander or just cranks up the spin machine to warp
speed.

Finally, before making a final judgment, you might want to actually read
the book and see how it comes across.

BTW, I'm not surprised that the 27% are yelling 'sour grapes' or 'doing
it for money', without admitting that there could actually be some truth
to what Scott is saying.

After all, Scott is not the first "insider" to leave the sinking ship
and give their inside view. Republican, conservative, decorated war hero
Colin Powell said essentially the same thing -- that *he* was
flim-flammed by Georgie and company -- and Powell is NOT writing or
selling a book. Maybe where there is smoke, there might be fire, hmmmm?
