You could get another speaker or a PA horn; but going to the AUX input would
work. I've done this several times. Be careful not to turn the volume up
on the CB too high, though. The AUX input is probably pretty sensitive. If
you get a loud hum, you might have to get an audio transformer (RatShack
Catalog #: 273-1380) for $2.99. I used one to get rid of hum from using
CAT5 computer network cable to get audio from my Dish satellite tuner to my
computer. The audio is now excellent. Good luck and have fun!

to the passengers. I thought maybe if I got a CB, I could not only use
it as a CB, but I could also use it to make announcements to the
passengers.

If this would work as described, I would connect the output of the CB to
the AUX input of the car stereo that is used to play music in the bus.

OK, I did a little more research and found that some CBs have a PA switch
and I guess that's what I'm looking for... but then I need to know...
could I plug that into the AUX input of a car stereo, or will it only work
going directly to its own speaker?
