I live about 20 miles from an NPR FM station that transmits “HD”.
It’s so cool to listen to it! There’s no way to turn off the HD mode
and it’s in that “fringe” area where HD mode isn’t really viable the
radio continuously switches back and forth. The volume goes up and
down, up and down, up and down with this real neat echo sound. I like
to just sit and listen to it cause it’s fascinating! Sounds like it’s
bouncing off the MOON!
I just love this stuff. I hope they never turn it off.
Funny thing. I get the feeling that I’m the only one listening
because I can’t imagine any consumer putting up with this for more
than a few microseconds but most consumers are just too stupid to know
how cool this is.
It’s “Time to Upgrade” you guys!
Since you can’t turn HD off the analog signal is now unusable.
I love it.
