Default HRO-50T1 Gear mech. question, etc.

The "T" in the model number indicates a table cabinet (rather than a
rack mount version). So your 50T1 is in fact a 50-1 and is the later
version with three IF stages. One section of the 6SN7 is used as a
phase-inverter for the P-P 6V6 output tubes, the other section is used
as a S-meter amplifier in both the late and early versions. The first
audio amp is a 6SJ7 in both versions. Hope this helps. --Ed

Ed, Thanks for the clarification. One likes to know the chronology of
models these radios.
