We had two vans broken into.. And during broad daylight an employee had
their car broken into.. I mean right in the station parking lot. The owner
got a good deal on a building that's become the hood.

Shoot to KILL! ok that works. but what else could they have done?

Install an alarm..
Hired a security guard.
Park their equipment in a secured area.
build a locked garage.
Hire killer man eating dogs.
Pay some kid $10.00 an hour to watch their equipment.
Hired trained killers.
Trade with a fire arms dealers and arm every employee with guns..
