It looks better than the pic.. which is washed out a bit by the strong
fluorescent lights in my shop.. but it definately looks like a TV now.

These old round tube sets certainly had an issue with overscan, didn't they?
But then, in 1949, you didn't see a lot of graphics in the corners..
