Good afternoon you all, I just got an early Christmas president. My
friend dropped off a Radio Shack Pro 2011 scanner a couple of weeks
ago for me to take a look at and now he says for me to just keep it.
The problem seems to be in the liitle uP board. It will work a while
and then just go crazy. I thought maybe it was a power supply problem
but even running it from a battery doesnt help. Ive tried replacing
caps on the uP board with no help. I had really given up on it but I
would like to try one other thing now that its mine. IF I could bet a
schematic on the thing I would like to see if I could control the
radio from a PC port. I have done this before by bit banging data into
the PLL circuit.
