Can anyone tell me who purchased the copyrights to the heathkit gear?
Thanks

Don Peterson at http://www.d8apro.com/ copyrights for most of the
manuals (some is public domain, but no one knows for sure what is...)
Also has pallets of NOS parts that is being sorted through for the
webpage.

ALL the manuals have been in the public domain for at least 20 years and
freely available. How can someone buy copyright on something that is
public domain? Have you seen the prices he is charging?
Steve H
Well, we'd have to know if the manuals were ever copyrighted to
begin with, and if the ones prior to 1962 were renewed.
Proving otherwise would cost a bit, unfortunately.
His prices were lower that most of the other manual dealers.
Not that I like the whole deal myself..
