The MSA-0304 is identical to the Mini-Circuits MAR-3 part.
Have a look at http://www.minicircuits.com/dg03-170.pdf
MAR-3SM
12.5dB@100MHz gain
+23.0dBm IP3
Operating current and voltage: 35mA 5.00V
My purpose is checking selectivity to compare different boatanchor
receivers in different modes, and I need at least 1mV, so an MSA0304
or two doesn't seem to give sufficient gain...
I suppose you could use one or two more MPS918s in an untuned
amplifier configuration before a MAR-3. You don't need gain
flatness, do you? The MAR-3 should give you a well-defined,
well-matched 50ohm output, since you have 'em you might try
using one.
