I'd like to make a steal hex beam antenna for 17 and 15 meters, maybe even
20 meters. *My goal is to make it is invisible as possible. *Is there any
ideas of what type of support poles that would be the lightest? *Maybe
croppy fishing poles? *I'm even thinking of putting this antenna up when I
use and and then bring it down in between days when I do not operate.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.

My 5-band (20m thru 10m) hexbeams typically weigh in at around13lbs;
this is the weight budget:

Fishing pole spreaders (6 needed): 0.89lbs
1/4" aluminium baseplate: 1.4lbs
Spreader support tubes and fixing bolts (6 needed): 0.38lbs
Baseplate-mast fixing bracket (2 needed): 0.54lbs
Fibreglass Centre Post: 1.4lbs
Wire (5 bands): 2.2lbs

Measured Total: 13.17lbs
